ADA Accommodations

The Office of Administrative Courts holds hearings in person, via video conference and by telephone.  Regardless of the format of the hearing, Office of Administrative Courts insures that all participants in all hearings are afforded due process.

All of the staff at the Office of Administrative Courts undergo training in ADA policy.  In addition, all of our courtrooms in all locations are accessible to individuals with disabilities.  The following accommodations are available to all qualified individuals at hearing, regardless of whether your hearing is in person or by video:

  • Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART)
  • ASL Interpreters
  • Visually impaired accommodations

All of these accommodations are provided for free, pursuant to the OAC ADA Policy.

If you require a reasonable accommodation, please submit the following form by no later than 72 hours prior to your hearing or other event.  Requests received within 72 hours will be processed but OAC cannot guarantee the availability of a qualified provider.  If a provider is unavailable, the OAC may need to reschedule your hearing or other event.

If you cannot access the form, you may contact the Office of Administrative Courts for assistance by telephone at 303-866-2000 or you may submit your request by e-mail at oac-gs@state.co.us and provide the following information:

  1. Your Name
  2. Your case number with the Office of Administrative Courts
  3. The date of your hearing
  4. The specific accommodation that your require to participate in your hearing
  5. Any additional information that the OAC may need.

All ADA requests will be reviewed in accordance with the law.
